Guyz,Only ten days to go, to have my little 'muzungu' in Uganda, " the pear of Africa" whooo..!! How is it gonna be!!!.
The idea to throw a benefit party at Ambiorix in Leuven, is not only a marvalous one, but also to water down the fear factor of going to what ancient historians called " dark continent" by saying bye to friends...though not always good to say bye rather than to say.." see you soon". Well...benefit party is to raise some little money to buy scholastic materials for school kids in Kitgum, Northern Uganda.
Lets see how all shall go!!

Dag vriendjes en vriendinnetjes,
Voor de bomma en de bompa en voor de mensen die niet zo goed in Engels zijn of geen zin hebben om na te denken, ook altijd een verslagje in het nederlands...
Nog maar 10 dagen vanaf heden, en dan zijn we de lucht in, op weg naar het zuiden...
AAAAhhh, reiskriebels-en zenuwsels beginnen nu echt wel te komen...
Op deze blog zal je mijn verhaal: het verhaal van 'Peter met zijn 'muzungu' (betekent: blanke)' kunnen volgen!
Maar eerst is er het benefiet feestje voor schoolmateriaal voor kindertjes in het noorden van Uganda! Allemaal komen!!

sorry I couldn't make to your goodbye benefit party. Hereby I want to wish you all the best in Uganda! Just like Sarah I'm very curious about all natures beauty that you will see there and ofcourse also about the thankful smiles on the childrens faces. Enjoy every minute and good luck. I'm glad to confirm that you are finally in your home town, I'm confident that you will both enjoy your time in Uganda. Many regards from this usually windy city of Chicago where we apprently have 10 Inces of Snow, I'm sure this is the opposite of Kitgum or Kampala.

Eventhough I'm not a biologist I also want to see some pictures of the (local) animals, plants and landscapes! Of course I prefer the rocks and stones... but I think I will be in the minority :-)
